Do you feel stuck and put off making decisions or fail to stick to those decisions you have made?

Are you ready to entertain new and fresh ideas?

What is Coaching?

It’s all about you.

Coaching is a powerful partnership designed to enhance and forward your lifelong process of learning, effectiveness, and fulfilment.

It is a tool to help you clarify what is most important to you, see your choices and support you in moving into action and accomplishing your goals more quickly and effectively.

It’s about allowing yourself to dream big and then together we make it happen!

Coaching requires the courage to take a hard, honest look at what is and isn’t working in your life. As your coach, I will help you see all your possibilities -- and help you make them happen now.

Coaching is not therapy, counselling or consulting. Coaching looks to the present and the future, helping you determine where you are, where you want to go, and how best to get there!

In coaching sessions you will decide what you want to talk about, and I will listen and ask questions you may not have considered. You have the right answers–you just need to bring them to the surface. You will make your own decisions about what to do.

I am on your side—a source of support exclusively concerned with your wants and needs. Sometimes I’ll push you, challenging your view of the world; my job is to prompt you to assess your current situation and future options in fresh and novel ways, giving you new eyes to see yourself and your surroundings.

Corporate & Excecutive Coaching

Executive coaching is increasingly proving to be invaluable in today’s world. There are numerous accounts of people who make life-changing breakthroughs, and businesses that soar above the highest expectations, all with the expertise and guidance only the best executive coaches can provide.

Whether an individual or a corporation, your success can rest entirely on having the best resources at the right time.

The field of coaching is relatively new to the world. More and more, we hear of people who turn to executive coaches for help: celebrities, corporations, business executives, even heads of state. Typically, the services of a coach are retained in times of need, when people are ready to address organizational, communication, time management, career, leadership or performance issues, as well mediation and conflict resolution.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching?

Coaching is about change–changing your own behavior; changing your world of work; learning to see and deal with problems in a different way. Of course the change is intended to be positive, helping you remove obstacles (often self-imposed) to your own happiness and success.   Change takes focus, practice and effort. You will need to work on noticing what you do and how it helps or harms you. You will need to think deeply about what you want and what change will be necessary to make it possible. You will need to practice doing and seeing things differently. If you are going to reap the rewards of meeting with a coach, you must be prepared to work at it between sessions. Sitting and talking with me won’t be enough.

Confidentiality

It doesn’t matter who pays the bill: you or your company. Your sessions are just between you and me. You should not sign up for coaching unless YOU want to see some difference in your life. What you discuss with me and what you decide to do is your business and yours alone—a conversation I am happy to have with your boss or training officer.

Working out what you want and need

Sometimes you’ll want help thinking through what you truly want. Sometimes you’ll know, and we’ll concentrate on how you might achieve your ambitions. Sometimes you’ll recognize that a change you may not welcome is on its way. Then, we’ll explore how to make it work best for you. Whatever your situation, coaching can help you learn to listen to your heart, trust your gut, read your environment, and uncover powerful, life-enhancing options.

Timeline and Location

Most people find it useful to meet for an hour once every couple of weeks, but you can choose the schedule that works best for you as well as the method: Face to Face,  Skype or on the phone.

Time for Change

Coaching takes time and effort. You should probably plan for several 45 minute sessions—less than one day out of a lifetime, but a commitment that will make a difference long into your future.

Why several  sessions?

If the answers were easy and obvious you’d have worked them out by now. Take a little time—less than 24 hours out of your life—to look at things in a new light and practice different ways of viewing the world and your place in it. Once you get started, this will be something you look forward to and want to make time for. It feels good to have someone who really listens, asks the right questions, and supports your development.

Why do you offer a free sample session?

We need to know if we are a good fit. Once we have met, you may feel that another coach would suit you better. I may decide that I am not the right coach for you, and may refer you to another coach or to another resource more able to meet your needs. This free initial session allows us to explore the coaching process and relationship and decide if it makes sense for us to continue.

Where do coaching sessions take place?

Most people find it useful to meet for an hour once every couple of weeks, but you can choose the schedule that works best for you as well as the method: Face to Face,  Skype or on the phone.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is about the present and the future, rather than the past. The purpose of coaching is to encourage growth and development rather than healing. Coaching is a positive, future-focused discipline, designed to support whole, healthy, and resourceful people in making the best possible career and life choices for themselves.

How is coaching different from consulting?

A coach does not give advice or come up with business or organizational solutions on your behalf. Instead, you are the one who works out the answers. I ask questions and make observations designed to allow you to see your situation with fresh eyes. You will find that a different perspective—a new view of your world—will allow you to see possibilities you never considered before. Coaching is empowering, refreshing, and invigorating—even when some of your learning may feel very tough.

Is coaching confidential?

Yes. It doesn’t matter who pays the bill, your sessions are just between you and me. You should not sign up for coaching unless YOU want to see some difference in your life. What you discuss with me and what you decide to do is your business and yours alone—a conversation I am happy to have with your boss or training officer.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Yes. Once we’ve met, and decided there will be a value in working together, we will both sign a coaching agreement

What are your registration/payment policies?

We’ll work out a payment plan and coaching schedule based on your needs.

I want to start coaching now. What do I do?

You just need to contact me to discuss your requirements in a little more depth and find out how you would like to be coached.

I will send details through regarding the terms and conditions which will include the frequency of our sessions, payment for the sessions and taking of some basic contact information and a little bit of detail around where you see yourself at the moment.

We would organise an ‘Intake’ session which will start us talking about you and your aspirations.

After all this is all about you!
